Drip Doctor® Franchising has been in the planning since 2004, when Jon Bennett first saw the need for a Plumbing business that was not just another business of Tradesman, but a Business full of Plumbing Maintenance Professionals. Whilst operating as Plumbing Inspector with the Maroochy Shire Council, Jon saw first hand the many complaints being brought against plumbers by the general public. These complaints were not just limited to Maroochydore or Queensland, but applied right across the country. The main areas of complaints were plumbers not turning up on time or not turning up at all, being dirty and rude, a lack of knowledge and expertise, installing poor quality fittings and leaving the property in a dirty and messy state. Jon went about building his own plumbing business based on a model that overcame the common complaints about plumbers and the plumbing industry. |
In 2004 Jon Bennet and his good friend Darren Wedge discussed Drip Doctor® and the plumbing industry in general and what was missing. The concept of building Drip Doctor® in to a Franchise was conceived. Drip Doctor® franchising has also built a comprehensive induction and training program to ensure that Franchisees are trained to deliver the high standards we expect and ensure we are truly professionals and not just tradesman.
